Water Tanks

The municipal water supply cannot be taken for granted, especially in times of drought or civic emergency. Having a water tank at your house provides irrigation security as well as a source of water in emergencies. Rebates are available for tanks of all sizes. We recommend a total capacity of 500 to 5000 gallons.

How it works

You may buy a tank and install it yourself, or the experts at Greywater Corps can set up your system. Tanks can be picked up at our shop in Glassell Park delivered to your door for a fee.

Once your tank is in place, it can be set up to collect rainwater or simply filled with a garden hose. Stored fresh water will remain potable for up to two years, at which time it can be used for irrigation. Harvested rainwater is not potable without prior treatment.

Extras
