
Greywater Workshop

Interested in learning how to install your own
simple greywater irrigation system? We will be
teaching a greywater class and hands-on workshop
where you will learn all about greywater and then
participate in installing a laundry-to-landscape
system, converting a washing machine to safe,
legal greywater reuse. This type of system can be
installed by a reasonably handy person in a
weekend for around $150 in parts.

The workshop will take place at a lovely house in
the City of Claremont. No prior construction
experience is necessary. Participants will be
expected to help with simple pvc plumbing,
drilling, cutting, and digging; please wear
appropriate clothing. Breakfast will be provided.
Cost of the workhsop is $50 per person; some
work-trade slots available. No-one will be turned
away for lack of funds. Enrollment is limited to 15
people. Early registration is recommended since
the class is expected to fill up. Please send any
