Interested in installing your own rainwater harvesting system, or learning more about them? This hands-on workshop will take you through all aspects of designing and installing a 200-2000 gallon above-ground rainwater catchment system. Lo, these systems are now eligible for a $400 rebate in the city of L.A!

The workshop will take place at a private home in the Eagle Rock neighborhood (address provided upon registration). There will be a brief presentation followed by the installation of an 865-gallon rainwater harvesting system at the house. Participants will be invited to learn and help with the installation: Basic pvc plumbing, drilling, cutting, and digging. No prior construction experience is necessary.

Early registration is recommended since the class is expected to fill up quickly.

Cost of the workshop is a sliding scale, $40 to $100 per person. Pay only what you can afford. If you can afford to enroll at a higher rate please do so, this helps keep our workshops available to more people. Limited work-trade slots are available; send us an email to enquire.
